Sometimes I paint, day 1

It has been a lovely fall, here in the midwest. As I was painting this morning, I listened to the rain, and then the hail, hit the roof. Thunder and lightening punctuating the hour. We woke to 51 degrees today–unseasonably warm. So I’m thinking about weather, weathering. And how some things stand up, despite.
